Badges2Bridges Course Overview

Badges2Bridges offers both in-class and online training for staff. The program also offers advisory support for leaders who seek further cross-cultural support via strategic planning. Modules develop the cross-cultural understanding and awareness of staff using the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) tool. Learning modules will help officers to:

  • Define stereotypes, unconscious bias, prejudice, racism, discrimination;
  • Examine the role that body language plays in cross-cultural interactions;
  • Identify issues impacting African Americans in the criminal justice system;

Program Accountability for Leaders Through Test Scores

Badges2Bridges is one of few online programs that provides leaders and senior staff with the ability to track the performance of their staff. Badges2Bridges starts with a short 10-question assessment that determines the knowledge everyone brings to the course. At the end of the course, each staff member can take a multiple-choice quiz that will test their knowledge.

Staff members can take the quiz as many times as they wish.

Organizations can request test scores for each staff member or an average test score for all staff of the organization.
